Youth (ages 4-11); Sundays, 10:45AM
Research data shows that the most formative years of a child's life are
the moment of birth to the age of six. In an effort to win the war for
the lives and souls of our children, the Upper Room Children's Church
has a comprehensive program of ministry every Sunday morning for children
ages 4 through 11, beginning at 10:45 a.m. The children who participate
in the Upper Room Children's Church every Sunday experience praise and
worship along with a thorough curriculum of biblical teaching. There are
also arts, crafts ,and activities that reinforce the "God First"
Gospel as preached by our dynamic Pastor.
(ages of 8 to 12)
Teaching pre-teen girls between ages 8 to 12 how to enjoy Christ while
they are young as well as grooming them for their next stage in life.

Youth (ages 4-18); Wednesday, 6:30 – 8:30PM
Midweek bible study dealing with relevant youth issues. Music, food, fun
and a relevant message for the real issues of teen and tween life. In
the Midst of Postmodernism, Homosexuality, Sexual Promiscuity, and Gang
Violence being promoted through High Schools, Middle Schools, Television
and Radio, God is raising up a generation of teenagers and preteens that
are equipped to stand up for truth and their faith in Christ. Youth from
all over the Raleigh area are taught to believe in the biblical foundation
of God’s work and boldly adhere to the doctrine of its foundation.

Training pre-teen boys between the ages of 8 to 12 to be outstanding examples
of young Christian men.
MUSIC & FINE ARTS MINISTRY
Designed to help youth “make a joyful noise unto the Lord”
using their voices and/or musical instruments. Young people can express
their faith through music by participating in Children’s Church
Band, Youth Praise Team and Youth, and Young Adult choirs. Young ladies
ages 7 and up can also take part in the liturgical dance group Feet of
Supporting the efforts of parents to train up their children through regular
workshops, seminars and activities. Meetings are held throughout the year
to ensure that parents are aware and engaged in the Youth Department activities
and provide feedback on the growth/needs of their child(ren).
Designed to reach unsaved and unchurched young people in the city with
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The youth department is responsible for ushering at services on the 2nd
Sunday of the month. Greeting the congregation, providing assistance to
attendees, and the offertory are all part of the usher service.
