FIRST LADY PAMELA WOODEN
for her spirit of excellence and attention to details, First Lady
Pamela Wooden is a woman of grace, elegance and wisdom. She has been
a saved and devout Christian for nearly 40 years and a life-long member
of the Church of God in Christ. She is First Lady at the Upper Room
Church of God in Christ and of North Carolina Third Ecclesiastical
Jurisdiction in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has been actively and
lovingly serving with her husband, Bishop Patrick L. Wooden Sr., in
numerous capacities of the ministry for 35 years within the local
church, district and jurisdiction.
at the local church, First Lady Wooden is the Vice President, Director
of Women’s Ministries, President of the Minister’s Wives
Circle and Director of the Married Couples Ministry. With Women’s
Ministry being her greatest passion, First Lady has established sixteen
auxiliaries to meet the needs and serve the interests of women in
the church and community. She also serves as chair of the annual (FAM)
Family & Ministries Conference, host of a powerful and dynamic
Women’s Conference annually and President of the Board of Directors
at Upper Room Christian Academy, of which she was instrumental in
establishing in 1998.
First Lady Wooden has served as President of the Superintendent’s
Wives Circle, Coordinator of the Dorothy Woolard Pastor’s Wives
Fellowship and Coordinator of the Annual Queen’s Coronation
at the appointment of Mother Mary Green. Additionally, she served
as Vice President of the Department of Women’s Executive Board
and coordinator of the Annual Prayer Breakfast at the appointment
of Mother Harrizene Keyes in Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction.
At the recent assignment to North Carolina Third Jurisdiction, Lady
Wooden is a member of the Department of Women’s Executive Board
and President of the Pastor’s Wives Circle serving with Mother
Beverly DeJournett doing whatever her hands find to do in this new
and budding jurisdiction.
Lady Wooden holds credentials as an Evangelist Missionary and is a
prolific speaker who passionately desires to see women grow and flourish
in their walk with the Lord and in life. God uses her particularly
in the interests of marriage, family, relationships, leadership and
wholesome living. Many lives have been powerfully impacted by her
unique and insightful ministry. She has great wisdom, she is an anointed
prayer warrior and a gifted teacher who speaks to issues that
adversely affect women in today’s culture.
Lady Wooden is a native of Rockingham, North Carolina. She has earned
an Associates Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Religion from Liberty University where she graduated
Magna Cum Laude. She and Bishop Wooden have 2 adult children Crystal
Amanchukwu (John) and Patrick Wooden Jr. They are the super proud
grandparents of John Patrick, Pamelyn Jewel, and John Jr.
Lady Wooden loves the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and lives
by the principles of GOD FIRST.
