At the Upper Room Church, you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment, you walk up to the building you can expect…

» A Warm Greeting

A heartfelt greeting is a part of what makes a church, a church. No matter what question you might have, just ask. Our greeters and hospitality workers are there to help you get settled and comfortable.

» A Kind-Hearted, Family Atmosphere

Here you will find loving relationships, acceptance, caring for others, forgiveness, kindness, strong Christ-centered families and a supportive, spirit-filled church family.

» Empowering Leadership

We are a church of servant leaders dedicated to following our leader as he follows Christ. A by-product of that is that throughout our church, there are strong leaders within our various ministries, families, and our local communities.

» Worship

Upper Room has a dynamic, well-rounded music department under the direction of Minister Clarence Raeford. We appreciate that music is an amazing tool given by God to enjoy, change atmospheres, and ultimately lead people to Jesus Christ. Here you can expect to hear many different styles such as quartets, hymns, praise and worship, and contemporary songs. Whether it's the one and only Upper Room Sanctuary Choir, the Youth & Young Adult Choir, the praise teams, or one of the other ensembles, you are in store for a blessing.

» Truth

The truth of God's Word is taught through Pastoral Sunday Morning preaching, Thursday Night Teaching (TNT), ministers in Training (MIT), Sunday School, YPWW, and so forth. These ministry outlets will train you to develop skilled ears to discern the difference between biblical truth and false doctrine. As a church, we embrace 1 John 2:24-25 (KJV), "Let that (teaching) therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life."
